The Longevity Den — evidence-based health and longevity
About Us

Evidence-based.
Honestly written.

The Longevity Den publishes science-backed health, longevity, nutrition, and fitness content — without the fads, the fear-mongering, or the supplement shilling.

Our Mission

Make longevity science
accessible

The gap between what research actually shows and what health media reports is enormous. Studies get misrepresented. Effect sizes get inflated. Single studies become headlines before replication. Products get endorsed because they pay well, not because they work.

The Longevity Den exists to close that gap. We read the primary literature, report the actual numbers, acknowledge the limitations, and tell you when the evidence is thin — even when the topic is popular. We recommend products we would use ourselves, and we say so when we wouldn't.

Our audience are people who want to make intelligent decisions about their health and are tired of being talked to like they can't handle nuance. That's who we write for.

01
Evidence first
We anchor every claim to peer-reviewed research. We cite specific studies, not "experts say." We report effect sizes, not just direction.
02
Honest about uncertainty
We distinguish strong evidence from preliminary findings. We tell you when the research is thin. We don't overstate conclusions to make content more shareable.
03
No editorial compromise
Affiliate relationships don't determine what we recommend. We've declined partnerships with products we wouldn't recommend ourselves.
04
Longevity lens
We're interested in healthspan — living well for longer — not short-term aesthetics or performance. Every piece of content is filtered through that lens.

How We're Funded

Affiliate links.
Nothing else.

The Longevity Den is funded entirely through affiliate marketing — a small commission when you buy something through our links, at no cost to you. We don't accept sponsored content, paid placements, or advertising. There is no brand that can pay to appear on this site.

We are transparent about this. Every page with affiliate links carries a disclosure notice, and our full affiliate disclosure explains which programmes we participate in and how our editorial process works.

The practical result: our incentive is to recommend products people actually buy and stay satisfied with — not products that pay the most. A commission from a product someone returns or regrets is a net negative for us. Our interests and your interests are aligned.
